Noise is the main source of pollution associated with shooting ranges. Tyre rubber is a high-performance material for acoustic insulation. In clubs with covered or indoor ranges, a wall covering made of Technigom, in the form of a thick mat or moulded bricks, significantly reduces the noise of the shooting. Tests have already shown that this noise protection is particularly effective.

In addition, Technigom can also be used in the form of high density blocks at the back of the firing point: this thus guarantees sufficient ballistic protection against bullets and debris by absorbing their kinetic energy (risk of rebound). It thus limits the release of lead or other metals into the air: the bullets are imprisoned in the rubber, and the dust produced is thus reduced.
